Aucnet Inc. Raises FY2026 Earnings Forecast on Strong H2 Performance
Aucnet Inc. (TSE:3964), Japan’s leading online auction platform for vehicles and lifestyle products, has raised its full-year earnings and dividend guidance for the fiscal year ending December 2026, citing better-than-expected results in the first half.
| Item | Before | After | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Revenue | JPY 72.0bn | JPY 75.0bn | +4.2% |
| Operating Profit | JPY 11.5bn | JPY 12.0bn | +4.3% |
| Ordinary Income | JPY 11.3bn | JPY 12.0bn | +5.7% |
| 親会社株主に帰属する当期純利益 | JPY 7.50bn | JPY 7.80bn | +4.0% |
| 1株当たり当期純利益 | JPY 83M | JPY 86M | +4.0% |
The company attributed the upward revision to robust second-quarter consolidated results across both operating segments. In Lifestyle Products, increased sourcing partnerships drove higher transaction volumes and favorable foreign exchange impacts boosted average settlement prices. The Mobility & Energy segment benefited from strong used-vehicle demand, with export buyers showing vigorous bidding activity that lifted total transaction and winning-bid volumes. Management expects both segments to maintain momentum through the remainder of the fiscal year.
Aucnet also significantly enhanced shareholder returns, raising its annual dividend forecast to JPY 82.00/share from JPY 61.00/share. The revision includes an interim dividend increase to JPY 22.00/share and year-end ordinary dividend of JPY 43.00/share, plus a special dividend of JPY 39.00/share funded by JPY 3.5bn allocated from the company’s “Blue Print 2027” medium-term M&A investment budget of JPY 7.0bn. The move maintains Aucnet’s dividend payout ratio above 50% while preserving JPY 3.5bn and increased operating cash flow for growth investments.
